WATCH: Temple’s interim head coach delivered the best press conference speech of bowl season

It doesn’t sound like fans have to worry about Temple getting fired up for its Independence Bowl game in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The Owls are gearing up for a showdown with Duke in their bowl game. However, the team is preparing under interim head coach Ed Foley after Geoff Collins left to take the head coaching position at Georgia Tech.
Foley may be the interim coach for the bowl game, but it sounds like he is taking the game very seriously. In the clip shared below by Temple Football, Foley delivered a passionate speech building up the showdown with the Blue Devils:
“I hope we play well, but I know that we’ll play hard,” exclaimed Foley. “And we’re gonna find out about Duke, and we’re gonna find out about Temple. And we’re gonna find out about which one of these football clubs want to hit each other harder, longer.”
