Things are expected to be a bit chippy in the Big 12 Championship, and it looks like one player sneaked an obscene gesture past the officials.
Texas and Oklahoma are battling it out in Dallas with a New Year’s Six Bowl on the line. For the No. 5 Sooners, a win could also open up the possibility of a trip to the College Football Playoff.
Oklahoma carried a 20-14 lead into halftime behind the impressive work of QB Kyler Murray. However, it was this signal by the holder for the Longhorns that drew some attention.
Following one of Texas’ touchdowns, the holder appeared to give Oklahoma the finger to signal the center for the snap. You have to watch closely or you may miss it:

The gesture apparently went unnoticed as the officials did not throw a flag. It will be interesting to see if the Big 12 responds after reviewing the game footage.
