WATCH: This Pick-6 by Mizzou QB Drew Lock may be the worst decision of the season

It will be tough to find a worse decision Saturday than this throw.

Missouri is taking on South Carolina in a game that is featuring some rough playing conditions. The rain is turning things a bit sloppy, but that still doesn’t excuse this decision by Missouri QB Drew Lock.

On this play, Lock dropped back as it appeared the Tigers were attempting to set up a screen pass to the running back. Unfortunately, the running back was tangled up with one of his offensive linemen and went down in the backfield. Lock threw the pass anyway.

It is hard to tell whether or not Lock saw his man go down, but he definitely needed to hold onto the ball or throw it away. Instead, he lofted up a weak pass that was easily picked off and walked into the end zone by a South Carolina defender.
