WATCH: UConn head coach Randy Edsall abruptly ends presser after Wake Forest question
Go ahead and add Randy Edsall’s name to the list of coaches who have given us an entertaining press conference moment in 2018.
On Tuesday, Edsall met with the media to discuss UConn’s upcoming matchup against Cincinnati. But his weekly presser came to a screeching halt after being asked a question he didn’t really like.
A reporter asked Edsall for his thoughts Wake Forest’s decision to fire defensive coordinator Jay Sawvel after four weeks of the season. Edsall shut down the press conference after that.

UConn’s defense has been terrible through the first four weeks of the season, giving up an NCAA-worst 54.5 points per game this year. The Huskies have surrendered a minimum of 49 points in each of their first four games.
They are 1-3 on the year with the lone win coming against Rhode Island.
Considering how bad the defense has been, it was a fair question. But Edsall had no interest in answering it or throwing his coaching staff under the bus.
And his response provided us with another great press conference moment.
