We’re all ready for college football season. Apparently the gambling world is, too.

In its earliest release ever, Golden Nugget announced early betting lines for the opening weekend of the college football season.

A total of 13 games were given early spreads:

Three B1G games were mentioned. The spreads on those games were:

  • Ohio State (-20) vs. Indiana
  • Louisville (-23) vs. Purdue*
  • Michigan (-3) vs. Florida*

*played at neutral site

Those lines will likely move at least a few points as opening weekend approaches.

Still, the biggest surprise might be that Ohio State-Indiana game. The Buckeyes, as a likely preseason top-10 team, will be favored significantly, but they haven’t blown out Indiana in a while. Ohio State’s last trip to Bloomington was a 34-27 victory in 2015 when the Buckeyes were No. 1 in the country.

Not everybody was happy about being 20-point underdogs.

Indiana linebacker Tegray Scales tweeted this out, which was retweeted by first-year coach Tom Allen.

Unintentional or not, Golden Nugget might’ve given Indiana some bulletin board material for the next five months.
