We still have an eight-month wait until the most exciting sports tournament makes its return. But ESPN bracketology expert Joe Lunardi is already making his second round of seeding teams for the 2020 season.

This week, Lunardi updated his brackets for the 2020 season and he believes the B1G will have plenty of representation in the field of 68. According to his latest predictions, the conference will have eight teams making the NCAA Tournament.

The B1G’s eight-team projection is the most of any conference in college basketball. Here’s where Lunardi has those eight teams seeded:

  • No. 1 — Michigan State
  • No. 3 — Maryland
  • No. 4 — Purdue
  • No. 5 — Ohio State
  • No. 6 — Iowa
  • No. 10 — Michigan
  • No. 11 — Minnesota
  • No. 11 — Penn State

Lunardi also has Indiana as one of the first four out in his latest projection.

There’s still a lot of time until Selection Sunday, so there could be – and almost certainly will be –dramatic changes in the bracketology. Still, it’s fun to see where Lunardi has some of the B1G’s teams slated at the end of the season.
