The deadline to declare for the NBA Draft has come and gone, giving the world full clarity of which players are pursuing their professional goals and who will be returning for at least another year of college hoops.
Following the deadline, college basketball expert Jon Rothstein released his updated top 25 rankings ahead of the 2019-20 season. And, now that we know who will be back on the floor for the upcoming season, it’ll be the poll that makes the most sense at this point in the offseason.
Rothstein has just three B1G teams listed in the top 25 at this point in the year — Michigan State, Maryland and Purdue. He has the Spartans listed as the No. 1 team with the Terrapins not far behind at No. 6.
The Boilermakers come in at No. 20.
