Woof.
This was the roughest week of picking B1G games yet. Connor, Andrew and myself combined for a 5-16 record in Week 10. None of us were above .500 and one of us — I won’t name any names but you’ll see below — ended with a bagel in the win column.
Are we really that bad at this? Or has the B1G season been that funky? It’s probably a combination. We’ll try to rectify an awful week with our Week 11 picks. There’s only one place to go, and that’s up.
On the football side of things, a few interesting matchups, specifically Michigan State and Ohio State. The Buckeyes need a win to stay alive in the B1G East and the CFB Playoff. A win for the Spartans essentially seals the division title for Michigan, so the Wolverines might be pulling for the Green and White this weekend.
Wisconsin-Penn State should also be an interesting matchup, though there aren’t many implications on the line. And Northwestern gets one step closer to a trip to Indianapolis with a win over Iowa this weekend.
There’s plenty of entertaining football this weekend in the B1G. We’ll see if we can’t do a better job predicting some outcomes this time around.
