For the first time all year, I achieved perfection. But in a way, I didn’t.

You see, I picked all six favorites last week by basically hedging my bet and saying that in a sleeper week, don’t be surprised if we got some crazy upset. Michigan nearly gave us that upset against Indiana, but the Wolverines prevailed in double overtime.

As a result, I went 6-0 picking chalk.

Never mind the fact that I missed the Northwestern-Purdue game by about three touchdowns. The scoreboard is the only thing that matters.

That will be especially true on Saturday when Michigan State and Ohio State finally square off in the game of the year. Some have gone so far as to say that the Spartans won’t score a single point. I’m not going that far, but I do think it’ll be a struggle for MSU to sustain offense.

There is expected to be snowy, windy conditions across B1G country, which means points could be at a premium. We could easily wind up getting seven down-to-the-wire games this weekend.

If we do, I’d be in good shape.
