Week 13 B1G picks against the spread: Big home underdogs galore in regular-season finales
It’s so tempting.
All of those points are just sitting right there, waiting to be taken. The big home underdogs are out and they’re barking. They’re saying “Pick me! Pick me!”
The dilemma is about whether or not you listen to them. After all, we’ve heard the big home ‘dogs bark before. Teams like Rutgers and Maryland know a thing or two about being a big home dog.
Remember the Ohio State-Rutgers game? What about the Michigan-Maryland game? Those ‘dogs were begging for us to take them. They got more than three touchdowns to cover at home.
We all saw how that turned out, though.
In the final regular season weekend of the 2017 season — somehow — Maryland and Rutgers are two of five B1G home teams who will GET at least 12 points this weekend. The oddsmakers are begging us to take the bait of all of those points at home for teams who are, for the most part, not playing for anything more than rivalry week bragging rights (Minnesota is the only one of those ‘dogs who will be playing for a bowl berth).
So should we or anyone else take the big home ‘dog bait?
