The regular season is over, and the B1G still has three teams among the nation’s elite. The B1G was the only conference to have multiple teams in the top six of the Coaches Poll.

Iowa, Michigan State and Ohio State all closed their seasons with victories. As a result, they all closed their seasons in the top six of the poll.

The unbeaten Hawkeyes came in at No. 3, while Michigan State and Ohio State followed at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

Northwestern, which also capped off the regular season with double-digit wins, moved up to No. 13 while Michigan fell to No. 19 following its 42-13 loss to Ohio State on Saturday.

Wisconsin also climbed its way back into the top 25 after beating Minnesota.

Here’s how it shook out:

  1. Clemson
  2. Alabama
  3. Iowa
  4. Oklahoma
  5. Michigan State
  6. Ohio State
  7. Stanford
  8. North Carolina
  9. Florida State
  10. Notre Dame
  11. TCU
  12. Baylor
  13. Northwestern
  14. Oklahoma State
  15. Florida
  16. Oregon
  17. Ole Miss
  18. Houston
  19. Michigan
  20. Utah
  21. Temple
  22. Navy
  23. LSU
  24. USC
  25. Wisconsin

Iowa and Michigan State will battle in the B1G Championship this weekend. The winner would presumably lock up a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Ohio State would likely need a loss from Alabama or Clemson to sneak into the field.
