The first full week of the college football season is in the books.
Starting on Wednesday and ending Monday night, fans across the country were able to enjoy six straight nights of college football. It was the perfect start to a season that has been one of the most anticipated in history.
Week 1 provided some thrilling games, full of upsets. Virginia Tech knocked off No. 10 North Carolina, No. 19 Penn State got an important road win over No. 12 Wisconsin and FCS Montana shocked No. 20 Washington.
Other ranked teams that lost their first game of the season included No. 16 LSU (to unranked UCLA), No. 14 Miami (to No. 1 Alabama) and No. 17 Indiana (to No. 18 Iowa).
After a crazy weekend, the new Associated Press Poll is out. Here are the rankings:
