Week 3 betting lines revealed for all B1G games
Betting lines for Week 3 college football action across the country were unveiled Sunday afternoon.
Here’s the opening line from Circa Sports for every Big Ten game in Week 3:
- Alabama (-14) @ Wisconsin
- Central Michigan @ Illinois (-19)
- Arkansas State @ Michigan (-24)
- Washington State @ Washington (-6)
- Oregon (-17) @ Oregon State
- Nevada @ Minnesota (-17)
- Notre Dame (-12) @ Purdue
- Troy @ Iowa (-20)
- Indiana (-3) @ UCLA
- Maryland (-1) @ Virginia
Michigan State, Nebraska and Northwestern all play FCS games in Week 3, so their lines were not included.
Interesting lines to note include Indiana being favored by three points at the Rose Bowl and Alabama being favored by 2 touchdowns on the road at Wisconsin.
The Hoosiers have gotten out to a strong start in year one of the Curt Cignetti era, having beaten Florida International and Western Illinois by a combined 108-10. A tougher challenge awaits at UCLA, with the Bruins sitting at 1-0 following a 16-13 Week 1 win over Hawaii.
In what is one of the biggest games at Camp Randall Stadium in recent memory, Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama squad is favored by 14 points against Wisconsin. Each team has started its season 2-0, although both have had scary moments against lower-tier competition.
The Apple Cup and Civil War are being played earlier in the season due to conference realignment, and each of the 2 Big Ten additions in those games are favored. Oregon has struggled in wins over Idaho and Boise State, while Washington has largely cruised against weaker foes. The Beavers and Cougars each picked up impressive wins over the weekend, with Oregon State shutting out San Diego State and Wazzu racing past Texas Tech.
