Iowa slipped one spot from No. 3 to No. 4 on Monday’s Week 5 release. The Hawkeyes faced No. 1 Gonzaga in a tough battle and came up short, 99-88.
Here is where B1G teams landed on the latest poll:

Michigan State slid down following a surprising and disastrous upset loss to Northwestern over the weekend. In that game, the Spartans looked completely out of sorts with a poor shooting night and equally poor defense against Boo Buie and the Wildcats.
Illinois continued its slide with a third loss on the season in the loss to Rutgers. The only saving grace at this point is that all three losses came to teams currently ranked inside the top 14. Hopefully the Illini can turn it around under Brad Underwood in conference play.
