Once again, the oddsmakers favor the B1G to beat up on some lesser competition.

According to the spreads by CG Technology, the Big Ten is favored to win 11 of the 13 matchups it produced initial spreads for. The only Big Ten teams that aren’t favored are Purdue and Maryland. Ironically, the Boilermakers are 2.5-point underdogs against a Bowling Green team that rolled the Terps 48-27. Maryland is currently a 17-point underdog at West Virginia.

Other than that, the spreads indicate that the Big Ten should be in for some blowouts. Michigan is a six-point favorite to beat No. 22 BYU, which already upset Nebraska in Lincoln. Illinois is the only other single-digit favorite in the Big Ten.
