So here’s something.

The B1G’s top two ranked teams, Michigan State and Ohio State, are both on bye this week, yet four of the five point spreads in the conference are double digits, according to Westgate Superbook.

Vegas has an awful lot of confidence a Wisconsin team that hasn’t won a B1G game by 19 all season and could be playing without a slew of key offensive weapons. And if Leonte Carroo is healthy, the Scarlet Knights are a much better team than the one that was pummeled by Ohio State.

Oddsmakers are going to keep rolling with the Huskers, no matter how disappointing they are. Don’t get me wrong, they should be giving double-digit points against a Purdue team that hasn’t won a B1G game at home in the Darrell Hazell era. But it is worth noting that the Huskers were favored against Northwestern (7.5), Wisconsin (1), Illinois (7), and BYU (2.5), all of which they lost outright. I’m not predicting a Nebraska loss, but it’s just interesting that the Huskers continue to be favored like an elite B1G team.

But enough of that. Here are the Week 9 B1G point spreads, according to Westgate Superbook.

Rutgers vs. Wisconsin (-19)

Nebraska (-10.5) vs. Purdue

Maryland vs. No. 10 Iowa (-17)

Illinois vs. Penn State (-6)

No. 15 Michigan (-13) vs. Minnesota
