Where all 14 B1G teams check in on Bill Connelly's updated returning production rankings
One thing that can give teams a leg up each college football season is getting key players to return. On the other hand, some teams that struggled might appreciate getting to replace pieces from an under-performing team.
Regardless of where your favorite team falls on that spectrum, determining how much production is returning in a season can be an interesting number to watch during the offseason.

ESPN’s Bill Connelly undertook that endeavor and compiled all 131 FBS teams based on returning production for 2022. At the top of the list was BYU with Hawaii bringing up the rear at No. 131.
Out of the B1G, Ohio State led the way at No. 23 overall, a scary proposition for the conference after the Buckeyes lost Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave to the NFL Draft. Defending B1G West champs Iowa were 2nd in the conference and No. 29 overall in the country as the Hawkeyes return some key weapons and a lot of depth on defense.
