Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson had more than one reason to celebrate on Super Bowl Sunday. According to reports, he and his wife, Samaria, welcomed their son into the world.

Per Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, Jefferson learned of his wife going into labor after the Rams secured a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI. He immediately grabbed his daughter and headed to the hospital.

Samaria reportedly didn’t want anyone to tell her husband about going into labor until the game was over.

It’s certainly going to be a day, and memory, Jefferson forgets.

Jefferson ended Sunday’s game with 23 yards on 4 catches for the Rams, including a long of 13 yards.

The Rams trailed the Bengals 20-16 heading into the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LVI. Matthew Stafford engineered a 15-play drive and threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp with 1:25 to play to lead Los Angeles past Cincinnati.
