One of the top defensive line prospects for the class of 2023 made some cuts recently. Two B1G programs are still in the running for his services.

On Tuesday, Will Norman unveiled his top 5 programs moving forward. That list included Penn State and Michigan out of the B1G East and LSU, Texas A&M and Florida from the SEC.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 290 lbs., Norman is a 4-star prospect and is playing for IMG Academy in Florida. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Norman is a top-100 recruit and is listed at 88th overall nationally. He is also the No. 11 DL prospect in the country.

As things currently stand, Penn State holds the No. 4 recruiting class in the country. 3-star Edge prospect Jameial Lyons is currently the only commitment of that group along the defensive front.

Michigan holds the No. 18 recruiting class for the cycle. 3-star DL Brooks Bahr out of Illinois is the only frontline defender in that group.
