William Nettles, 2024 CB out of Texas, puts 2 B1G programs in top 3
Williams Nettles is almost ready to make his college decision.
Nettles announced his 3 finalists on Thursday afternoon. He’s still considering Nebraska, Purdue and SMU.

Nettles is a Texas native and has received offers from numerous Power 5 programs across the country. His offer list also includes Baylor, Boston College, Duke and Indiana, amongst other teams.
He’s the No. 702 overall player and the No. 66 cornerback in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Nettles is also the No. 113 player from the state of Texas.
Nettles attends Dallas Christian School in Mesquite, Texas. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds.
SMU does have a proximity advantage over both Nebraska and Purdue in this recruitment. However, Nettles took an official visit to both Big Ten programs earlier this month.
