Wisconsin, Purdue announce date change for 2023 meeting
Wisconsin and Purdue will move their meeting up one day this season, and deliver a first-ever B1G Friday meeting for the Boilermakers.
In 135 seasons of Purdue football, the Boilermakers have never hosted a B1G opponent on a Friday. For the first time ever, Ross-Ade Stadium will host the Badgers for a meeting on Friday, Sept. 22, up one day from the originally scheduled date.
Kickoff time from Ross-Ade, along with the television network designation, will be announced at a later date. The conference contest is Purdue’s first B1G game under head coach Ryan Walters, and Wisconsin’s under Luke Fickell. It also marks the first Friday game at Ross-Ade Stadium since the Boilermakers beat Ohio 44-21 6 years ago (Sept. 8, 2017).
