We still have another month left in the college regular season, but the coaching carousel is already twisting and turning. With the recent addition of the Akron vacancy, there’s now been eight openings as of Nov. 4.

Sports Betting in Big Ten Country

There is big news coming to the upcoming 2022-23 Big Ten football season (and NFL season). Ohio online sports betting and Maryland sports betting are on the way.

The eight teams in need of a head coach include LSU, USC, TCU, Texas Tech, Washington State, UConn, Akron, and Georgia Southern.

The coaching that need to get replaced are Ed Orgeron (LSU), Clay Helton (USC), Gary Patterson (TCU), Matt Wells (Texas Tech), Nick Rolovich (Washington State), Randy Edsall (UConn), and Tom Arth (Akron). Georgia Southern has hired Clay Helton.

The most notable coach on the list is Orgeron, who guided LSU to a national title in 2019. Orgeron is 65-45 overall and captured numerous awards in 2019, including AP Coach of the Year and Home Depot Coach of the Year.
