The 2018 season has been a topsy-turvy one for many teams in the Big Ten.

Week 3 provided a lot of upsets, which didn’t go the conference’s way. On Wednesday, Sam Cooper of Yahoo Sports listed his five biggest upsets of the season.

You guessed it.

There are a lot of Big Ten teams on this list, and not in a good way. But, starting at No. 5 is actually involving a Big Ten team who is on the correct side.

5. Maryland over Texas

Then, it goes downhill from here for the conference:

4. Troy over Nebraska

The Cornhuskers didn’t have QB Adrian Martinez, but yes, Frost couldn’t have been too pleased with the outcome.

3. Arizona State over Michigan State

This game was at Arizona State, the Sun Devils are a respectable program, kickoff might as well have been at midnight and even at that time in the state of Arizona, it was still 100 degrees. Sure, the Spartans should have won the game. But, that’s a top five upset?

2. Kentucky over Florida

No Big Ten embarrassment, finally.

1. BYU over Wisconsin

This game of course was the cherry on top. The Badgers were favored by at least 3 TDs no matter which betting line you looked at. Wisconsin won the year before at BYU 40-6. This was a shocker to many.
