Kyland Reed out of Mansfield Summit High School in Arlington, Texas received an offer from Illinois on Friday. He is a LB from the class of 2024.
Reed doesn’t have a ranking yet per the 247Sports Composite. He is listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds. Reed has 6 total offers, and the Fighting Illini are the only team from the B1G to give him an offer so far. He also has offers from UTSA, UAB, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, and Tulsa.
He made a post on Twitter about the offer he got from Illinois on Friday afternoon.

Illinois doesn’t have any commitments yet for its 2024 recruiting class. Iowa, Ohio State, and Penn State are the only B1G schools to have commits from the class of 2024 at the moment. The Hawkeyes currently have the No.1 class among B1G schools for 2024.
