3-star edge rusher flips commitment, picks Illinois over Tennessee
Illinois just picked up an extra recruit from the Sunshine State.
Gabriel Jacas flipped to the Fighting Illini Wednesday morning after being previously committed to Tulane, per Jeremy Werner of 247Sports. Jacas is a 3-star edge rusher from Fort Pierce High School in Fort Pierce, Florida. He is 6-foot-3, 246 pounds.

Jacas is the 65th-ranked edge rusher from the class of 2022. He is also the 160th-ranked player from the recruiting ground that is Florida and the 1223rd-ranked player nationally per the 247Sports Composite. Jacas picked Illinois over Tennessee.
His career should be fun to watch as he goes to Champaign.
