Ayo Dosunmu is settling quite nicely with the Chicago Bulls. The rookie is also on a streak of starts with the team and set a new career-high in Sunday’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Sunday was Dosunmu’s 9th straight start since entering the starting lineup on Jan. 15. He has been mostly good in that stretch, posting a positive +/- mark in 7 of those outings.

In the win vs. the Blazers, it was Dosunmu’s passing that was especially on display. He worked his teammates open with some beautiful driving before dishing out some nice assists.

At the end of the game, Dosunmu had just 7 points but was efficient while hitting 2 of his 3 shots. He chipped in a career-high 11 assists to go with 6 rebounds and 2 steals in a well-rounded effort for the rookie. Chicago finished the game +12 when Dosunmu was on the floor.

While it was not his scoring that stole the show, Dosunmu’s outing was an example of a patient rookie getting his teammates involved and making the right pass time and time again.
