Adam Miller is doing his best Ayo Dosunmu impression tonight.
With Dosunmu out due to a facial injury suffered in Tuesday night’s game against Michigan State, Miller stepped up in a big way in the 1st half of No. 5 Illinois’ home finale against Nebraska. Miller scored 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting and grabbed 2 rebounds.
Illinois took a 36-28 advantage into halftime.
Miller was the game’s leading scorer for the half. Kofi Cockburn and Andre Curbelo each scored 6 and Da’Monte Williams and Jacob Grandison each chipped in with 4 points.

The Fighting Illini are looking to bounce back after suffering an 81-72 loss to Michigan State on Tuesday. Illinois had been riding a seven-game winning streak until suffering that defeat.
Nebraska was led by Derrick Walker, who scored 7 points.
