Chase Brown nets Rose Bowl honor for big game during Illinois' Week 7 win
Chase Brown might be the most surprising player this year in the B1G this season. The Illinois running back has rushed for over a 1,000 yards so far this season and 4 touchdowns.
His accomplishments this season have earned him a big honor from the Rose Bowl, who named him their Player of the Week from Week 7.
Brown had 233 yards total, 1 touchdown, and was the first running back nationally this season to reach 1,000 yards rushing.

At this rate, Brown could be on pace for a potential All-American nod and nomination for the Heisman Trophy. That will likely be determined by how Brown holds up down the stretch of B1G play.
