Zach Aamland announced that he will be visiting Illinois from June 3-5 on Friday morning. He is an offensive tackle from the class of 2023.
Aamland has offers from a number of Power 5 programs including Boston College, Louisville, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia. He is listed as a 3-star from the Hun School in Princeton, New Jersey per 247Sports. Aamland is 6-foot-6, 285 pounds.

Aamland is the 85th-ranked tackle from the class of 2023, and No. 18 ranked recruit. He would be the 1st offensive lineman to commit to Illinois if he chooses to go there.
Aamland is also from the same school as 2023 DL Dante Barone as well. Barone will be visiting Illinois from June 17-19.
