Former Illinois Fighting Illini and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Dawuane Smoot made a big play that helped extend Jacksonville’s lead over the Los Angeles Chargers. On 3rd and 10 at the beginning of the second quarter, Smoot got into the backfield to account for a strip sack and was recovered by outside linebacker Foysade Oluokun recovered the fumble.

Five plays later, the Jaguars were able to find the end zone to extend their lead 13-0.
