Elite point guard prospect to make visit to Illinois
One of the best point guards in the 2023 recruiting class will be visiting Illinois later this week.
Jeremy Fears, who’s considered a top 2 player in Indiana per 247Sports Composite ranking, will be on Illinois’ campus on Friday.
He made that announcement on Tuesday afternoon:

Fears is also considered a top 50 overall prospect for the 2023 class and is the 9th best point guard in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
He currently has no crystal ball picks towards any schools, but he does have a lot of programs around the country interested in him. Those include Michigan State, Indiana, Missouri, Chicago State, Creighton, Gonzaga and Kansas. The ones that seem to have the most interest are Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, and Missouri.
No date for a “final teams list” or a commitment date has been set by Fears yet.
