It’s official, Kendrick Green is a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Steelers released a photo on social media and indicated that Green has signed his rookie contract with the organization. He was the finally member of Pittsburgh’s draft class to sign on the dotted line.

All nine players from the draft are under contract for the Steelers.

Green was selected in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was taken No. 87 overall out of Illinois.

During his time at Illinois, Green started in 33 total games along the offensive line. He initially started his career in Champaign at defensive tackle but switched to the other side of the ball before the 2018 season as a redshirt freshman.

Despite having additional eligibility, Green opted to declare for the NFL Draft after starting all eight games for the Illini in 2020. He was a second-team All-America selection and a first-team All-B1G pick.
