No. 10 Illinois is getting ready for a big non-conference matchup versus the Marquette Golden Eagles. One star player for Illinois that gets ready in an unusual way is point guard and former B1G Sixth Man of the Year recipient Andre Curbelo.

While in warm-ups, Curbelo attempted some headstands while stretching out his lower body and core. Illinois and basketball fans knew Curbelo was athletic, but not like this impressive maneuver.

In his only game of the season for Illinois before Marquette, Curbelo accounted for 8 points shooting 3-of-8 in field goals while also accounting for 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 2 turnovers in the 92-53 win over Arkansas State last Friday. Curbelo missed the season-opening 71-47 win over Jackson State.

Illinois is currently in a tight game over Marquette in the first half. Curbelo and company are doing their best to survive the season-opening stretch without star big man Kofi Cockburn.
