Josh Imatorbhebhe did a lot of talking with his play on the field during his two seasons at Illinois. The wide receiver proved to be a quality pass-catcher, capable of making big plays over and over again.

Somehow, though, Imatorbhebhe seemed to stay under the radar in terms of attention from NFL scouts. That’s no longer the case after the former Illini star posted a ridiculous number in the vertical jump during his pro day on Wednesday.

According to multiple reports, Imatorbhebhe’s vertical jump was recorded at 46.5 inches — a number that many scouts in attendance think is one of the highest ever recorded, if not the highest. Below is the video of the receiver’s incredible jump:

Throughout his time at Illinois, Imatorbhebhe demonstrated an incredible ability to outleap defenders for 50-50 balls in the air. But this takes it to an entirely different level.

In two seasons at Illinois, Imatorbhebhe hauled in 55 receptions for 931 yards and 12 touchdowns. He had an incredible first season with the Fighting Illini in 2019, making 33 grabs for 634 yards and 9 touchdowns. His yards per catch average was at an impressive 19.3.

Yes, this year’s NFL Draft class is loaded at the wide receiver position. But Imatorbhebhe could end up being a steal somewhere along the line.
