Hunter Dickinson drops expletive, left speechless when asked about relationship with Illini fans
Hunter Dickinson might have left the B1G with a transfer to Kansas, but the former Michigan big man was back facing a league opponent with a Sunday scrimmage against Illinois.
Despite being a preseason All-American on the No. 1 ranked team, Dickinson and the Jayhawks fell in that scrimmage in Champaign. During the game, Dickinson had one particularly hard foul that was reviewed as a potential Flagrant 1 situation.

He was left speechless by the question and dropped an expletive in his response:
“Uhh, you know I think its — Um, that’s a good question, shit,” said Dickinson. “Um… You know, it’s uh, I think there’s a — I can’t even give you a good answer right now, I’m sorry.”

Over the course of his time in Ann Arbor, Dickinson dialed up a number of interesting comments directed at Illinois. That includes Illinois clamoring over the B1G title going to Michigan for the 2020-21 season and Dickinson’s claim that Illini fans are “annoying” from a few years ago.
We’ll see if Dickinson and the Illini face off again later this season, but for now, Illinois gets the last laugh once again.
