Illinois basketball sells out student section season tickets in first 24 hours
Illinois basketball is looking for another strong season and a fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance under Brad Underwood.
While the ultimate course of the season is still to be determined, one thing is clear: The Illini will play in front of a rowdy student section all season long. Season tickets for the student section recently went on sale, and it did not take long for them to be sold out.
The season tickets for the student sold out within 24 hours of going on sale as the Orange Krush gears up for another big season in Champaign.

A season ago, the Illini were 20-13 overall and finished 5th in the B1G with an 11-9 conference record. Last season’s home slate included key games and wins against Syracuse, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Ohio State, Rutgers and Michigan.
We’ll see how the Illini look at home when the 2023-24 season tips off.
