Illinois men’s basketball has now confirmed the non-conference teams that will be on the schedule. The Fighting Illini added 7 teams to it on Thursday per Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.
There had previously just been 3 or 4 potential out of conference matchups announced by the basketball team, but now the schedule is confirmed. Before the non-conference schedule starts, Illinois is also planning on having an exhibition against Quincy on Oct. 28.
Here are the additions to Illinois’ non-conference schedule: Eastern Illinois (Nov.7), followed by Kansas City (Nov. 11), Monmouth (Nov. 14), Lindenwood (Nov. 25), Alabama A&M (Dec. 17), and Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 29).
Other meetings that will take place outside of the B1G include UCLA on Nov. 18, either Baylor or Virginia on Nov. 20, and Syracuse on Nov. 29. The rest of the schedule’s dates have not been confirmed just yet.
