Illinois’ game against Florida A&M has been cancelled. The Fighting Illini had some positive Covid-19 cases within the program, and were forced to call the game. The game will not be rescheduled either according to the fightingillini.com

The news was confirmed by the Illinois basketball account on Twitter Monday morning.

If you are one of the Illinois fans who bought a ticket for the game from the Illinois ticket office, you will be contacted about a refund on Jan. 5 when Illinois returns from holiday break. Those who bought their tickets from any other service will need to reach out to those companies separately.

The Fighting Illini are coming off a win against Missouri in their last game. They currently sit at 9-3 through 12 games.

If they are able to get healthy in time, their next game will be against 10-1 Minnesota on Jan. 2 at 6 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.
