Illinois continues to add to its 2023 recruiting class, landing a commitment from a Florida prospect on Monday.

This time, the commitment comes from Teremun Lott, an Athlete out of West Palm Beach, Florida. Lott held other offers from FIU, Akron, Bowling Green and Toledo, among others.

“Since a kid this has been a dream and it doesn’t stop here,” Lott wrote via Instagram. “THere’s more work that needs to be done and for the doubters thanks for the motivation…

“I am COMMITTED to the University of Illinois.”

Listed at 6-feet and 170 lbs., Lott has also shined in track and field while running the 100- and 200-meter dash. 247 Sports rates Lott as a 3-star recruit and the No. 133 ATH nationally for the class of 2023. According to Jeremy Werner with Illini Inquirer, Lott is committing to play wide receiver for the Illini.

Lott brings Illinois’ 2023 recruiting class up to 13 commitments heading into the last week of June. That group is currently ranked 37th nationally by the team recruiting rankings, an impressive jump over the 63rd overall ranking Illinois had for the class of 2022.
