Illinois lands commitment from 3-star OL out of Pennsylvania

Illinois football landed a commitment from 3-star offensive lineman Zafir Stewart Monday, the Illini’s 9th commitment of the 2024 class. Stewart also represents Illinois’ 2nd offensive line commit of the 2024 cycle.
Stewart picked the Illini over the likes of Penn State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Maryland and more. He stands at 6-4, 320 pounds and plays at Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia.

Stewart is considered to be the No. 74 offensive lineman in the country, as well as the No. 31 player from the state of Pennsylvania per 247Sports.
