Out of Naperville North (Illinois), Olano is set to play in the All-American Bowl postseason all-star game. While he does not have a 247Sports Composite rating, Olano is rated 5-stars and the No. 1 kicker in the class of 2023 by Chris Sailer Kicking:
David is a fantastic high school kicking prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a live leg. David does an outstanding job on field goal. He gets the ball up well off the ground and has 55+ yard range. David hits a pure and accurate ball. His kickoffs are strong. He drives the ball 65+ yards, with 4.0+ hang time consistently. His best balls measure 70+ with 4.1+ hang time. Also a capable punter. A big time competitor who thrives under pressure. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for David. He is a fine young man who is a pleasure to work with.
