Illinois lands pledge from Division II transfer CB
Illinois’ secondary is getting some depth via the transfer portal.
Friday, the Fighting Illini landed a commitment from former Minnesota State transfer cornerback Terrell Jennings. He made his announcement with a post on Twitter. The news comes a day after Illinois held its annual spring game.
Jennings spent two seasons at Minnesota State (including the pandemic-hit 2020 season) before opting to enter the transfer portal. He’ll be immediately eligible for the Fighting Illini.
