Illinois OL no longer listed on team roster
Moses Okpala isn’t listed as a member of Illinois football anymore.
The news about the roster move broke on Tuesday afternoon. Okpala is a sophomore from Saint Louis, Missouri. He debuted in the team’s Week 13 game against Northwestern where the Fighting Illini won 47-14.
Okpala has now been removed from the Illinois Football website’s roster and is no longer a member of the football team according to Joey Wagner of 247Sports.

Okpala was originally a 3-star offensive tackle who committed to Illinois in November of 2018 per the 247Sports composite. He brought a lot of height and strength to the offensive line, coming in at 6-foot-7, 295 pounds.
It’ll be an interesting story to watch as the Fighting Illini will have to rely on a lot of underclassmen on the offensive line next season with a lot of this year’s starters graduating.
