Illinois held off Iowa 82-71 in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals on Saturday afternoon.

Center Kofi Cockburn controlled the game, scoring 26 points and adding eight rebounds. Ayo Dosunmu was also a key part of the win, scoring 18 points to go with seven rebounds and nine assists.

Andre Curbelo was also outstanding off the bench. The Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year scored 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting. He also added seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Illinois will now prepare to face Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game on Sunday afternoon.

Iowa center Luka Garza was held mostly in check. He scored 21 points, but took 21 shots to get there. He picked up with fourth foul with about six minutes to go in the game, so he wasn’t able to be aggressive on either side of the ball down the stretch.

Jordan Bohannon helped keep things interesting in the final minutes. He scored 20 points on 15 shots and added six assists.

Tip-off for the Illinois-Ohio State championship game is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
