A pivotal B1G matchup will take place on Saturday afternoon, and Illinois’ star will make his return for the contest.

Illinois announced hours before the game that star Ayo Dosunmu will be back on the floor for the Fighting Illini. He has missed the last three games after suffering a facial injury in a loss to Michigan State. Saturday’s game is the final of the regular season for both teams.

Dosunmu is averaging 21 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game this season, leading the team in scoring and assists. He’s shooting nearly 49% on the season and is in the running for B1G and National Player of the Year honors.

Even with Dosunmu missing the last three games, Illinois hasn’t lost since that 81-72 defeat to Michigan State in the Breslin Center. The Illini are 3-0, with victories over Nebraska, No. 23 Wisconsin and No. 2 Michigan over the last two weeks.

Tip-off between No. 4 Illinois and No. 7 Ohio State is set for 4 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN.
