Isaiah Williams is the latest injury concern for an Illinois squad already playing without starting quarterback Tommy DeVito. With DeVito sidelined by an ankle injury, Williams was also seen leaving the field in the second half of action on the BTN broadcast.

It is initially unclear what Williams might be battling. He left the field and went to the medical tent after one hit but did not stay there long before heading to the locker room.

Williams was seen walking under his own power. It will be interesting to see if Williams can return at any point with the game already in the second half.

In Week 6, Williams has been held under wraps with just 3 yards on 2 carries and negative yards receiving. However, he is the team’s leading receiver and return man on the season.

Without DeVito and a hampered offense, having Williams miss time is not great for the Illini.
