Isaiah Williams is in the middle of a brilliant season for Illinois and is on track for some career-high marks this year. However, he entered Week 7 without a touchdown to his credit for the season.

In fact, Williams was approaching almost a full calendar year since his last touchdown. Prior to Week 7, Williams last found the end zone against Michigan State (Nov. 5 last season) with a 2 touchdown performance.

Fortunately, Williams was able to snap his streak without a touchdown to open the second half vs. Maryland. He scored on a 3rd-and-4 play from 15 yards out to give Illinois a 21-14 lead over the Terps.

So far, Williams leads Illinois with 4 catches against Maryland and is up to 43 yards and a touchdown. Despite not having a touchdown, he entered the game already leading Illinois with 38 catches for 503 yards.

Now, Williams can wipe that scoreless blemish from beside his name with a key touchdown against the Terps.
