Illinois center Kofi Cockburn has reportedly been invited to the NBA Draft Combine according to ESPN NBA Analyst Jonathan Givony. The combine will take place in Chicago, starting on May 16.
Cockburn was not the only one who got an invite on Tuesday. Collin Gillespie (Villanova), Scotty Pippen Jr. (Vanderbilt), and Kris Murray (Iowa) were also reportedly invited as well.
Givony posted about the news from his Twitter account on Tuesday morning:

Cockburn averaged a double-double last season with 20.9 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game in 2021. He was also the Fighting Illini’s leader in points and rebounds per game as well.
This is some very exciting news for Illinois and Cockburn if true.
