Luke Goode suffered a foot injury preseason in Illinois’ scrimmage against Kansas in October. After his injury, a broken foot, Goode was forced to sit the start of the season.
Now, 3 months later, Goode has made his return to the team. He checked into Illinois’ game against Rutgers Saturday and received a raucous welcome back from the Illini faithful.

Goode isn’t a starter for the Illini, but he’s a key role player. He has a strong ability to stretch the floor and is a good rebounder at 6-foot-7. One way or another, he’s going to help Illinois win some games down the stretch.
The Illini and Scarlet Knights are off to a competitive start, with Illinois trailing by 5 nearing the halfway point.
