Pat Bryant, Illinois WR, posts blistering first half vs. Chattanooga

Pat Bryant was in store for a big game right out of the gate in Week 4. After one half of action, he had already given Chattanooga more than it could handle.

One the very first drive of the game for Illinois, Tommy DeVito hooked up with Bryant for a pair of big gainers. Those plays helped set up Chase Brown for an early touchdown run to open the game.

Later, Bryant had what should have been his signature moment of the game with a thrilling 79-yard score while weaving in and out of the defense. Unfortunately, that play was called back for holding.

In the end, Bryant did catch a beautiful touchdown pass from DeVito ahead of halftime and went over 100 yards in the half. He heads to the locker room with 5 catches for 107 yards and the touchdown in a brilliant half of football for the receiver.
